Platform puts trains, metro, buses, ferries and light rail on the same map, using familiar line and mode colours.
Vehicle positions refresh about every fifteen seconds. Tap one for its run, next stop and any crowding data. Tap a station, wharf or stop for departures.

STOP 02 — BRD
Live departures for Sydney stations, wharves and stops.
Open a station, wharf or stop for the next services. At stations, filter the board by platform.
Each time is labelled Live, Predicted or Scheduled, so you know whether it came from a vehicle, a TfNSW estimate or the timetable.
When crowding data is available, Platform shows whether it is live, forecast or based on previous runs of that service.
STOP 03 — TRK
Plan and track a Sydney trip.
Start a trip and Platform follows it from the walk to the station through each service and interchange. It moves the journey along automatically using your location.
Underground, it falls back to the timetable and says so. Miss a connection and Platform offers the next available service.
STOP 04 — NOW
Trip updates on iPhone and Apple Watch.
See the next departure and next stop on your Lock Screen or Dynamic Island. Saved trips can sit in a Home Screen widget.
On Apple Watch, Platform shows the same journey and taps your wrist before an interchange or your stop.
STOP 05 — SRC
Know whether a time is live, predicted or scheduled.
Every time and crowding estimate carries its source, so you can tell live data from a prediction or the timetable.

If TfNSW sends no delay, Platform leaves the status blank. It does not turn missing data into ‘On time’.
Live and scheduled transport data comes from the Transport for NSW open data feed.
STOP 06 — PRV
Your location and trips stay on your phone.
Platform uses your location on-device to show where you are and move an active trip forward. It does not upload or log your location.
