This is a dated production sample, not a live counter. Scheduled runs are passenger-eligible trips, counted once per mode, trip ID and service date. Realtime cancellations are not subtracted. Fresh positions use the vehicle timestamp, not the time of our last request.
A FEW THINGS TO KNOW
Saved trips, TfNSW live data, iOS Live Activities and Android tracking notifications will be free. Platform will have no advertising. Paid extras remain undecided, including whether the live map will be paid.
Both are native apps, with controls designed for their platform. iPhone supports Live Activity tracking, Dynamic Island and Apple Watch. Android uses an ongoing notification and a journey widget. Some beta features differ.
No. Live, Predicted, Timetable, Stale and Unavailable remain distinct. If TfNSW cannot provide fresh data, Platform shows the source and age instead of presenting old data as live.
A beta trip link contains a short-lived trip snapshot and never includes your GPS position. It expires after eight hours, or you can stop sharing earlier. Saved trips can sync through your private iCloud account on Apple devices; completed-trip history stays on the device.
We are testing Platform on real journeys before the public release. The iPhone and Android beta builds can change, and Android Closed test access requires an eligible account. App analytics are collected during beta testing and will be absent from production.
